So what are the ‘Okapi Web Modules’?
Just upgraded tp BL3. I see this in my ‘Modules’ list. Don’t recall seeing it before. And they are not currently installed.
Don’t see a sample in the Demo Galleries.
The Okapi modules are from Backlight 1 and are there for those upgrading from BL1 to BL3. That way, when they upgrade they won’t have to immediately create new Pangolin templates (which have the latest features) and their site will still be usable while they work on updating templates.

Yeah, don’t install them. They’re very outdated. The “Pangolin” modules are what you should be using. These were also released for Backlight 1 mid-cycle, but not everyone switched over, which is why we sadly have to continue to support Okapi.

I have a site, originally built in Backlight 1 and updated to Backlight 4 that contains some Pangolin pages but most are still Okapi. Is there a way to upgrade these Okapi pages or must I redesign them? The site works fine but I guess it could use an upgrade.
In a related issue, I can’t seem to be able to install favicons on OKAPI pages for this site.
I turned on the favicon display, but as you can see, there are no images available in the “select from images…” drop-down menu…
even though there is a favicon-designed image available in the Uploaded Image bank:
What am I missing?
Redesign with new Pangolin templates
Try creating a .png or .ico file for your favicon. It looks like jpgs won’t work for favicons. At least they are not included in the choices.
