YouTube Video Link Page within Backlight Album Set

I created an album set with several albums. I would like to have one of the albums be an album with pictures that are links to youtube videos (it’s for a hockey team and that page has the game videos). It doesn’t appear that this is possible with backlight. So i’m assuming I would have to use word press to create this page. How can I have the format of the page match the ones I create in back light, and how can I have the link to the album (with the youtube videos) appear in the album set?
Thanks,
Steve

Use the Backlight WordPress add-on to create a theme to match your site.

Just create a text link in the album set copy with the url to the WordPress page that contains the videos

Another way to do this from within Backlight is to create another album set to hold video albums and include that in the main album set.
Create the video albums using the Theater add-on

Or maybe using an Essay to link to the youtube videos, show some images and link to other albums.

I can’t seem to access the backlight word press add-on in wordpress. I will try again.

How do you create a link in the album? I looked at Publisher and I look at the base settings, i can see the link but I can’t edit it. Or do you just mean to create some text in the page copy with a link to the other page with the videos?

I really want it to look just like the other albums which when you click on you can see the different pictures. This one it would be nice if you click on the album and are taken to a page with the different videos instead.

Your best option to get what you’re after may be to use the Backlight Theater add-on:

First, create another album set inside of the set that contains all the other albums. This set will appear on the thumbnail grid to be another album.

Then, inside of this new set, create Theater albums (one for each video) that use Theater’s Video (YouTube) presentation. You’ll end up with albums (with the same design as your others) that have a YouTube video embedded.

but just to answer your other questions:

It’s not accessed in WordPress. Use it in Backlight to create a theme and export it to WordPress. Apply the new theme and your WordPress blog will look like the rest of your site.

Yes. Use Markdown or html to create a text link.
