Enable Media Presentations - Problems

Hi all,

after enabling media presentations, some images are no longer displayed and the multilingual selector no longer works.

Best regards,
Oliver

Okay, second thread reporting this issue. Can you share a URL, please?

I’m working on https://theraumphotography.com with the former video phplugins and the new audio/media dissabled.

best regards
Oliver

Can you share any pages using the new media player feature, and exhibiting the problem? Maybe clone your page template, disable PHPlugins and enable the media player for like one album or set so that I can investigate?

Hi Matt, will do that soon

here we go:
https://theraumphotography.com/test/
1st, 4th and 6th image not showing, multilang selection not working

Thanks. I can see that something is causing the compiled JS file to crash with a PHP error, so something happening when we’re building that file. Hard to tell what’s at fault, though. Please leave this page up for a bit, and I’ll try to dig in further over the weekend.

I don’t have access to the file on your server, https://theraumphotography.com/backlight/data/designer/cache/120-page-1.0.3-86-2-menu_150-110-scripts-2.0.0-51-136-3.js-3.template.

Can you either send me that file, or give me FTP credentials so that I can pull that from your server for investigation? Click my name and press “Message” to message me directly.

Hi @volvoxturbo, I’ve deployed a silent update with a fix that Matt has made that will hopefully address this. Can you try the following:

  1. Reinstall the Kookaburra Page module in the Backlight Modules page
  2. Clear your template cache via the Designer > Templates > Clear Template Cache

Hi Ben, hi Matt,

I followed the steps and removed the previous version from phplugins and activated Media Presentations. Everything looks like it’s working smoothly. :+1:

Thank you so much!!!

Best regards,
Oliver
