How do I re-create Publisher structure

I accidentally moved the folder with the TTG Publisher to a backup. When I put it back my Album Sets and Albums in Publisher were gone. I don’t care about the content that is already on the site but if I re-create the Album Set structure LR tells me it will append a number on the new Album Set and create a new one. How do I get it to use the existing structure?

Currently I have this:
zoos (top level directory/toronto-zoo/toronto-zoo-animals/new page album

If I try to recreate Album Set “toronto-zoo” LR will not use my current URL and creates “toronto-zoo1” - I want to use the structure that’s already there.

See if the suggestion in this thread helps

Tried resetting preferences but it didn’t work. It took me back to “missing plugin” but no folder structure that was there before. I also tried restoring two old backups, but that doesn’t appear to include plugins.

I also took a look in FTP at Publisher database_backups and the only file in there is one from two days ago when I reinstalled the plugin which overwrote the old one.

I would have thought that moving the Plugin folder on my laptop would not have affected the uploaded plugin but it appears to have wiped it out. Although there are old log files in there.

Is there a way to override the default LR behaviour to force creating a duplicate structure?

After removing the TTG Publisher plug-in from the location Lightroom thought it was in, you still should see the sets and albums in Lightroom Publisher, but with a message that the TTG plugin could not be found:

After reconnecting the plug-in via the plug-in manager, the message should disappear and the album and set should still be there:

You may need to quit and relaunch Lightroom.

I know of no way to force a duplication of the structure

Problem is the sets have disappeared. I’ve tried numerous backups and they are gone. I guess the catalog backup only backs up the catalog not the Publish Services.

So, I understand the problem now is that LR only knows how to create a new set. I wonder if I can change the slug in Backlight temporarily, then create the “new” sets and change the slug back in Backlight.

Lightroom backups contain only the catalog, not any plugins.
But Publisher collections are stored in the catalog so they should be showing up. Are your other collections showing up?

I got the Publisher folders back - yay! I was using Import Catalog instead of Open Catalog to restore an old backup. Once I used Open Catalog and opened a catalog.lcrat backup from last month the folders appeared again. Still very strange they disappeared. I’m thinking my removing the plugin folder on my hard drive was coincidental. Maybe a LR backup corrupted something, but it’s all is good now.

Thanks for your excellent speedy responses as always.
