Kookaburra Enable Maps greyed out

A very useful feature in Pangolin was the possibility to enable maps for the slideshow, either through Lightroom, or through Publisher in Backlight. In Kookaburra the maps option in greyed out, in Lightroom as well as in Backlight. Was there a reason to do this? It is certainly a feature I would like to bring over from Pangolin.
