Links in photo captions

I have tried the following Markdown formats in a photo caption without success:

Race fans: Here is a link to a Monaco Grand Prix highlights video: Video

Race fans: Here is a link to a Monaco Grand Prix highlights video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sp_ntF4GmSE

Neither way creates a clickable link.

Is it possible to create a clickable link in a photo caption?

Doug

Oops! The text created clickable links in my submission. Hopefully this will show the Markdown text I actually used in the Caption (put in quotes here):

I can’t get it to work in my photo caption and I can’t keep it from working in the Forum!

Here’s a link to the album:

The caption in question is on the tenth photo in the album. It doesn’t appear as a clickable link, and it is not even possible to “copy” it so it can be pasted in a browser.

html and Markdown cannot be used in image captions

To post code in the forum, surround it with back-ticks (`)
see this post on text formatting: Formatting text in the new forum

Thanks Rod. I was afraid that was the case.

FYI, code can be added to the forums by either wrapping it in single backticks (`) or by using three backticks (```) on a new line followed by your code and then followed again by three more backticks on a new line. I’ve used the second approach, below:

Thanks Ben. I’ll make use of one of those methods the next time I need to quote code on the Forum.

In the meantime, I used Markdown in the main copy part of my album to link to the video. You can see how that worked here: Monaco and Eze - The Collins Family on the Web
